It did not lock me out. It just won't play the program for me.

These all works on TV Pad 3 in NYC, so are the long list of China based DNS compiled by daniel58 on page 39 of this thread.
These DNS works with TV live stream from HK, China and Taiwan.
But any idea why none of these work with NIJI Show (Japan TV steam)?

Korean VOD doesn't work on TVPad2 with these DNS addresses. Anyone else with TVPad2?
I been use YueTV for the pass couple week. It works pretty good in PA on a 5.06 Tvpad 4. All you have to do is put your tvpad on auto dns no vpn needed.
Thank you so much for helping all of us who have spent hundreds of dollars and hours on a box ended up as a brick!
I've been following you guys on every topic of this forum everyday.
I am too lazy to sign up and write anything on any forum. But today I just created an account on your forum because I need your help.
I learned from your posts that you have a lot of TVpad 1 and done plenty of experiment on them and now I'm excited to hear that "It works without changing DNS for my m121s". I have both a TVpad 1 and 4 with the following ???? and problems.
TVpad 1:
Android ??: 2.3.4 ????TVpad ???3.26??????M121_3311_GVOS2?????????
I made it work properly by upgrading the firmware to 3.26 in this August. But everything stopped working since late October with the green man icon grey out again. I've tried changing many DNS, but none of them help. I recalled I came over one of your topics about downgrading its firmware by rooting and modifying the version number helped some people. But I'm not sure whether or not it works and how it works. So I've hesitated on how to fix this brick until I read your post of "It works without changing DNS for my m121s". Can you please kindly help me rescue my brick to life again?
TVpad 4:
Android ???4.4.2??????GVOS(A)-TVpad-5.054??????M418_D1XXXX
This box could not connect to anything since late October until you created this site and I found your solution of changing DNS. But changing DNS does not always work. Everything works on both auto and manual DNS except that the network testing on all DNS returns a server error: error code -1 and no DNS can connect it to the ????. Both the network testing and ???? worked properly on DNS 49 once before Nov 25th. I just did a full comparison on auto and manual DNS and all videos seem to load a little bit faster on auto DNS than manual DNS while the manual DNS seems to be a little more laggy. Are these normal? Do you know a work around to the ????? Shall we use auto or manual DNS on TVpad 4 now?
Sidenote: I read quite some people asking how to root TVpad 4. I've experimented on my own and found a very quick and easy way to do it as well as an easier way to install any APK onto TVpad 4 at least in my humble opinion and that's how I do them. I've since been thinking about to help people in need. But I didn't know how to post here and am really lazy. I might try to help when I could if it's needed. Since you know most of the site and there might be something that I don't know yet, have these subjects been covered on this site? In another word, shall I still post them and what do you think is the best way to do so?

Would you mind posting in a new topic for the following:
a) the steps to root TvPad4
b) easier way to install APK (do you mean you can access Google Play Store and install it directly from there?)

I am in San Francisco, too. I got a tvpad1 and a 4. 123.127.108.135 works for both my tvpads.
Sometimes it don't work tho. I do a cold reset by pulling the power cable on the tvpad and it works by itself again...its not really reliable.
working here SFO
Still looking for a working DNS for my TVPad 2 though.

Also in the SF Bay area, can't confirm.
What I can confirm though is the 47 DNS works on my TVPad 2 with VPN router set up.
what DNS should i be using. please help!
