Survey - Best thrid party app for TVPad4

All,
I started this tread to discuss what third party apps to extend our user experience on TVPad4.

For me, they are:
VPNunlimited - able to switch to VPN proxy on the fly (if you already have an account)
ShowBox - movies and TV shows
Kodi with superpro repo - tons of worldwide content (although it eats up a lot of memory)
ES explorer - easy way to clean up junk file & cache on the box

Please feel free to chime in, hopefully this thread can be used as a repository to help those folks who want to extend TVPad4 box beyond just for viewing Asian media content.

Can you run a VPN app eg. Hola, Cyber Ghost, then launch the MyTV from TVB HK to make it work?

Only if you can run those VPN programs, most of them don't run on the TVP4.

Which one are we meant to use for TVpad 4? the TV one? no idea what the difference is. Wouldn't this app be geo blocked?

For free vpn, I use OpenVPN connect with EasyOVPN

EasyOVPN allows you to find the free VPN sites and links it to the OpenVPN app.

Edit: I should note that the date/time on your TvPad4 must be correct for EasyOVPN to work correctly.

No you cannot run Htv's apps in Tvpad 4

Hey guys I also highly recommend VST app from Shafa.com. Bee TV is also not too bad. TV Mao looks like cat... That one is ok as well

Unpack the vchannel apk file to a usb thumbdrive along with the batchinstall.banana file and plug it into the tvpad4 and the installer should come right up, follow the batchinstall menu.

I have encountered a problem recently that all installation for apps upgrade were
failed due to insufficient storage space. I have deleted several of the unused apps in order to spare out some space but it still didn't work. When I tried to reinstall some of the deleted apps, it didn't work also. Please give me some advise

Please tell us whether you have KODI installed? This is by far the biggest memory/space hogger.
If you can get away with not using KODI on TvPad4, please do so.
I think the best way to solve your problem is to perform system restore, and re-install all the apps you need (providing you have them already backed up)

This app is pretty good, speed of content rendering is fast and quality is high.
VOD content categorization needs improvement.
So far I only looked into their collection of movies, lot of them, but needs time to scroll through the list; and older movies cannot be properly retrieved. not even close to organization level as VST.apk

I have the same insufficient storage issues on 2 of my Tvpad4. Some of these 3rd party apps asking to be updated and said insufficient storage. Even after deletion of some unused apps, the memory still said 0 and cannot install any more apps. No Kodi, I just have the old apps and the tvpad 3rd party package. Any one tried factory restore yet to see if problem will be resolved?

Ok try this way to fix it, install Shafa market
1.go to More tab.
2.A .key optimized. and then clean all junk files.
