I did try it on my 22 lcd monitor with HDMI input. It works & NO flashing on main menu.
Does it mean my Samsung 55 LCD doesn't work with this little toy?

I used BOTH (Original HTMI cable from Ubox & other from TVPAD 3). Not sure is my Samsung 55 TV LCD issues since it works on my 24 Acer LCD monitor with HDMI input.

Hi Mr Padman can you find out with UB box has setup PAL or NTSC by default ( because UB box made in HK) May be this the problem?
However, in the Settings -> Display. There is a HDMI output mode that you can set manually. Perhaps the OP need to manually set it for his big tv ?
