With limited technical knowledge, I tried to change the DNS to 146.0.227.36 on my TVPad 3 in Toronto. It didn't work, so I went to the store. I paid $30 and was told that they would do a system upgrade as my warranty expired after 1 year. I am not able to tell if they really did an upgrade or not. Is there a way to check? Yet, I was able to tell that the DNS was changed to 107.151.128.222. I have not had a chance to check all the functions, but the connection to the Hong Kong dramas works.
What's the store name? Need to put this on the blacklist... :X

Thanks for heads-up.
Confirmed in NYC, this DNS address works on both
- TVPad4 firmware 5.054 (no upgrade), using standard TVB apps
- TVPad1 M121S firmware 3.26
