On my box, the menu is located on the left side of the screen. There are 3 options: TVpad Store, My TVpad, and Setting. In setting, the only category that applies is Time Zone but There is no place to change date or time.
My tvpad4 doesn't allow me to setup time and date anymore. I can pull down the menu from upper right and click 设置，and it goes back to app desktop. May I have your suggestions?

If you are finding it difficult to get to the Android Settings (looks like a little green dash) at the top right of the TvPad home page screen, an alternative is to obtain and install the clock sync routine from the Google Play store. I used the one from Sergey Baronov. The app icon is blue with two clock faces. This app will get to TvPad date and time settings so you update.

Yes, you need to backup. You can factory reset by going to TVPad setting menu.

just install shafa. inside my apps section, setting of the box will be on the bottom inside the system icon.

depends on what app u use. most of the apps shared here don't have ads. clear cache should fix it. a few apps i know have pop ups are rss player and mytvshow. maybe it's from there.

Yes, I am getting pop-up ads on RSS player after installing Shafa. Before that, the RSS player did not have any adds. I am also unable to find where to clear the cache on tvpad settings or in Shafa.
You can try ads block plus Block Ads using ‘hosts’ file. But your device must be rooted.

you can use ES file explorer app to do the transfer.
I think in the backup apk's setting. You can also set the backup files location. Just change the path to your USB or SDCard. Then you don't even have to another app to do the transfer.

@tomato123 you're so knowledgeable! I will try to find the path for USB which sounds easier to me. The default path is the internal SD card in the backup app. I am struggling with the USB path.
the path of usb flash drive should be(you need to check the checkbox edit full path): /storage/external_storage/sda1/
