Currently, I'm using tvpad 3 and in toronto area. I tried out all the DNS on the list. It's still not working. Right now I'm using 107.151.128.222 it said the DNS is normal but the server is abnormal error code 2. I can't watch any of my apps. Can someone please advise what I should do. Thanks.
looks like a lot of people are on the same boat as me. I am a TVpad3 user in Northwest Arkansas USA, just bought it like last year.
I have been doing a lot of researching and reading lately in the past two days regarding to the TvPad issue.
I have tried all the DNS address and all fail.
DNS 49.213.10.163 works but the server is abnormal.
I probably shouldn't have factory reset either. Before I factory reset, at least there are some apps will work. Now after factory rest, none of the apps work....it is really depressing.
If anyone get their TvPad 3 to work in USA...please share their knowledge on how to get it back on line.
I was giving up and thinking just to get a TvPad 4 but now after the research it looks like TvPad 4 is having issues as well and there is no guarantee it will work.

Hi, I am in the Vancouver region, I am experiencing similar problem. Did network testing too, all are "normal" except the server error code return -1. No app works. Please help. Thank you!!!

You need to blank out the IP address, the subnet mask and the gateway and then re-enter them exactly as before. Then enter the DSN
49.213.10.163 This works for me. I am in the GTA and have TVPad 1, 2 and 3.
Hi, I am using tvpad 2, model m358_4100. Yesterday I was able to watch ???? by changed dns to 49.213.10.163. But today I can't watch with the same dns. I have tried with other Dns and it is still failed. Anyone can advise how to make it work? Appreciate it.
TVpad_Nightmare, you obviously didn't look hard enough, all the apps can be found in the useful files thread. But if you have YueTV installed, you are good, that is the only one working anyway for firmware 5.06 unless you want to go the the VPN route.
No, I can't watch that app either, but live TV is ok. I'm in toronto area using tvpad 3. I just live chatted with a tvpad support. He said to use these DNS for GTA toronto area. 107.151.128.222 , 49.213.10.163 , 47.88.138.175. Then he said make sure I unplug the power cord after you typed and saved the DNS. Then go straight to ??. I used 47 DNS and it works fine to live stream TV apps only, but not ???? apparently.

I was reading this forum, some of you suggest YueTV apps and VPN. Can someone tell me how do they work? I just want to know if there are still fix for them?

If you got a code 2, you should try the apps you usually use to see if they work.

49.213.10.163 This works for me. I am in the GTA and have TVPad 1, 2 and 3.
I'm also getting the server - 1 error message.
I want to change the DNS to see if that will help, but I can't access the IP, Subnet and Gateway number.
Even if I switch on AUTO the numbers don't come up. Instead I get error message "failed to set cable network".
It was working fine 2 days ago on wireless but all of a sudden stopped working.
Any ideas / advice?
