    Hello

I have posted that I successfully made the 2nd router and vpn unlimited setting work with Canada Ontario server, a few days ago. Everything worked at that time.
However, yesterday, the Solive app (live Korean tv channel) started not streaming and from this morning, nothing works.
I used DNS 43.213.10.163. Is there any other DNS I can use?
I think I am stending entire December days in fixing TVPAD. :(

    Try DNS 47.88.138.175

So for tvpad3, I was able to set up vpn router and changed DNS to 47. HK live TV and vod work.

Just a bummer this solution would work until DNS 47 dies and we have to hunt down a working DNS again. Cycle goes on and on...

A lot of people here mention using the combination of VPN and DNS.
However I can watch live TV app without using VPN, but not the VOD.

Do I get to watch more apps with VPN?

    Thanks.

An example of VOD is ?????
This does not work no matter what DNS I use (I am using 106.39.38.250 now, an unpaid DNS)

BTW, I just signed up with the paid DNS, configured it and reboot, now none of the app works.
    What am I missing?

    I live in NYC.

    Thanks

    Hi Padman,

Can I pay the service for DNS without 2nd router? I'm in SF, usa.

I tried to join yesterday but it won't let me do it. Please help!

Sorry I finally get it to working using paid DNS.

I miss the step of authorizing my IP on the DirecHosting.
Also I had to unplug the power off the TV Pad and wait like a minute and power up again.

By "they", do you mean the ???? app itself? Giving up mean they stop serving streaming service?

Just purchased the DNS service as well. From NYC. Verified my IP, changed the DNS, unplugged the TVpad and still no green man. Any additional steps you took that made it work? Thanks

Steve, do you need a second router with paid dns as well?
  • afishafish Junior Member
    edited December 2015
I used second router and set up VPN using VPN unlimited to Ottawa Canada. First I used 49.213.10.163 DNS. After it starts streaming. I changed the DNS to auto ( leave the DNS bank). So far, everything has been wide open for a week. All VODs, live channels and even TVpad stores are up.
