Obviously it isn't shut down when people are still using it.
I'm guessing they are looking for ways to distribute updates and such.

I've just added tp-link router, and pure vpn account and using 49 dns and my tvpad 2's work now.
Thanks to "padman" I get to watch all korean vod's and live.kks only though solive does not work.

Does anyone have a work around for Chinese drama?
I have TV Pad 2 and it hasn't worked for weeks like many users. I am located in Toronto. I've tried playing games around with the DNS numbers but no luck. I'm connected to WiFi.
What else have worked for other users? Thanks!

How are you playing around with the DNS numbers on WiFi? You need to be connected to LAN in order to do that.
Wonder if you could help. I have a TVpad 2, UK user. The server has been down for the last few weeks like everyone else. I have tried all the suggestions - changing the DNS to 49.213...., also tried other numbers. Configuration on both LAN / Wifi settings has been successful. When tested, still says abnormal DNS and server.

Yeah, it has been working until Wednesday. So I don't think its related to whether my app are updated because it would not have been working if not up to date.
123.127.108.135 now started working on TV Pad 3 in NYC.
30 minutes ago none of the DNS worked. What just happened? Was it that all the of DNS servers stopped working (physically hardware breakdown) and then come back to life? Or was it that the ip address that those DNS servers resolve was incorrect and now it resolves correctly? I would like to get more technical aspects of this ongoing issue.
Also, a lot of people here mention using 49 DNS + VPN, for what I understand, if you have VPN setup, you can just use whatever DNS server, or be even set to AUTO on TV Pad, am I wrong?

TVpad4 with 49 DNS + VPN is still working in FL.
