yup, they make you to updated and becomes VIP viewer only then you need to join their VIP membership with pay but not all of them, still, a good app, and good quality video.
if ur box is rooted and installed china tunnel can watch the vip drama on newest moretv 3.17. if ur box is not rooted, install free vpn app "transocks" also can watch it. i just tested working on mxq, m8s pro and amazon tablet. transocks won't turn on on tvpad4 for some reason. so no go for tvpad4. transocks works only on wifi connection. also works on almost all popular china vod apps. http://www.transocks.com

hey guys, i tested the transocks on my unrooted ubox with ethernet connection and surprisingly it works. i was able to watch vip heart of greed on moretv. also works on popular china apps like mangotv, tencent, beetv, vst, togicvideo....

u can watch the vip drama. only can watch the episodes that was broadcast in hk. u cannot watch the vip episodes are not broadcast in hk yet. example: heart of greed can watch up to episode 17 because it follow what was broadcast in hk. which is 17 episodes out. the vip episodes 18-25 is only for the vip users. they will let the non vip users watch the next episode according to what was release after each day.

Please advise how to fix this issue. If it cannot be fixed, what Android box is recommended.
My mom was using tv China to watch HK drama earlier, suddenly the tv screen was blank. I unplugged and replugged the box. I saw tvpad logo and the flowers were blinking for few seconds. But the screen was still blank and I couldn't see any apps.

try unplug everything longer and see if it's still the same.
