What's the difference between HTV5 with HTV3 so far?

    Yes, htv still working.

    No difference really, htv5 is on newer hardware. The apps are the same.

    Although htv3 may probably get decommissioned soon based on the subscription trend.

    Do they have apps need additional subscription for particular channels or VOD？

    I found a lot of free app like BangTV, Huashu, BeeTV, VST Require subscription in order to watch some VOD/live channels.
