Am looking for solutions regarding the outage n happened to found this wonderful forum. Any suggestions for users in the east bay (west coast) with tvpad4? Before people to ask question . I am suggest people must post what modle of your Pad and what is your frimware are runing . otherwise all the answer is confuse every body..........

Try to setup the network from automatic setting to DNS 49, but it asks for IP, sun-net mask and gateway which are empty with original automatic setting. Anyone can help? Maybe use your setting will work? really appreciate. My parents start to be a little fussy without TV to watch.

mask and gateway all numbers) from automatic setup
2. paste in manuel setup ( IP, sun-net
mask and gateway all numbers) and change DNS to 49......
are u direct wired or using wifi....
set to auto then reboot unplug and replug box
then set to manual leave everything the same but dns change to 49xxxdns....
the reboot box again
it should work now....

Ok did you confrim it after you using automatic
setup.If you did ,you will got all number in Ip, net mask, gateway
Yes. I did. Actually we use that setting-only with DNS address and Mac while all other parameters are empty to watch Zhi Bo for a while. Only got server issue fr few days ago

Hello everyone, New member of the forum, first time posting:
My wife's TVPad2 is not connecting to the server. Is the TVpad server down?
I performed a TEST NETWORK and everything is successful except for the SERVER test:
SERVER - Abormal error: -1
Any help on fixing the problem or is this a main server down issue and TVPad owners just have to wait for it to be corrected?

Ok I got a NORMAL on all tests... but strangely the network icon still had the exclamation point icon.. but it is connecting and connext, but the SPEED is slow.. or intermittant.. but it's back working again.
I would paid too mych attention on that so-called "network test", the server always return an error code
The dns 49.x is erratic. Some times it works like a champ other times it is fast on streaming but slow for playbacks. In situation like that I will connect to a fast vpn server and problem solved.

How come you said no number in IP net mask before?
My wife's TVPad2 is not connecting to the server. Is the TVpad server down?
